Numerical Simulation on Heat Transfer Enhancement of Direct Air\|cooledSingle\|row Tube with Vortex Generators

  • 摘要:为了验证新型涡流发生器(柱面梯形翼)对直接空冷凝汽器单排管的换热有一定的强化作用, 利用FLUENT 6.3商业软件对安装柱面梯形翼的单排蛇形翅片扁管空气侧换热及流动特性进行了三维数值模拟。结果表明, Re数在300~900的范围内, 与未安装涡流发生器的单排蛇形翅片扁管相比, 带柱面梯形翼的翅片扁管的平均 Nu数增大了123%, 摩擦因子增大了111%, 其综合换热性能( Nu/f)最多提高5.65%, 这说明柱面梯形翼对翅片扁管有强化传热的作用。在模拟过程中, 对实际直接空冷凝汽器蛇形翅片单排扁管进行了一定程度的简化, 将计算区域按照翅片扁管的对称性尽可能缩小。并将数值模拟的结果进行了网格独立性验证, 表明模拟结果的可靠性。

    Abstract:In order to verify the reinforcement to heat transfer of direct air\|cooled single\|row tubes using vortex generators, 3\|D numerical simulations are performed to investigate air\|side heat transfer and flow characteristics of single\|row wavy\|finned flat tube with cylindrical\|shell trapezoidal wing using FLUENT 6.3. The results show that with Reranging from 300 to 900, the heat transfer performance ( Nu) and friction factor of single\|row wavy\|finned flat tube is increased by 123% and 111% respectively, after the cylindrical\|shell trapezoidal wing is used. The integrated heat transfer performance ( Nu/f) of single\|row wavy\|finned flat tube increased up to 5.65% with cylindrical\|shell trapezoidal wing. It is concluded that the performance of single\|row wavy\|finned flat tube with cylindrical\|shell trapezoidal wing is better than that without cylindrical\|shell trapezoidal wing. In the process of simulation the actual situation of single\|row tubes is simplified. According to the symmetry, the computational domain is narrowed as far as possible. Because of checking of the grid independence, simulation results are reliable.
